PM Modi Inaugurates World's Highest Railway Bridge in Kashmir
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has opened the world’s highest single-arch railway bridge in
Kashmir.
This bridge connects the Kashmir valley to the rest of India by train for the first time.
It is built over the Chenab River and is meters (114ft) taller than the Eiffel Tower.
It took over 20 years to complete.
The bridge is part of a 272 km (169 miles) railway line that links Jammu to the
Kashmir valley and can be used in all weather conditions.
